It is an adaptation of the 1987 Colombian telenovela Lola Calamidades, created by Julio Jiménez. The story centers on Aurora, a young woman believed to be cursed since birth, whose life has been marked by isolation and superstition. Her relationship with Rodrigo challenges the prejudices surrounding her and uncovers long-hidden family secrets.
